The Big Green EGG includes a ceramic top, however, for more precise temperature control, many experienced Green Egg cooks opt for the Dual Function Metal Top. This top features two controls for setting the temperature accurately. To make larger temperature changes, swivel the bottom disc with large holes. For finer adjustments, swivel the top disc with small holes. When used in conjunction with the stainless steel draft door, the dual function metal top allows users to achieve optimal temperature control.
